Fume Extraction Solutions Expanded

Weldability-Sif, the UK based “one stop source” for all welding products, have formed Extractability, an operational division that will manage the companies newly expanded range of Dust & Fume Control Solutions. The Extractability range of products includes mobile & portable fume and dust extraction, vent-to-atmosphere packages and custom dust and fume extraction solutions.

The highly popular Weldability Sif range of portable and mobile extraction units have been extended to include models with manual and automatic filter cleaning units to compliment the existing ProtectoVac and ProtectoExtract models that use disposable filters and retain workshop heat, reducing energy costs.

First of the new models is the ProtectoTwin, which features a cleanable filter and an infinitely adjustable fan speed control. The unit features two ports, to enable it to be used to extract from two separate welding zones or to be used to extract from a fume extraction welding gun and at source nozzle in one welding zone.

The Protecto ReClenz is a BGIA approved mobile fume extraction unit capable of handling 3,000m3/hr of air, incorporates an audible and visual filter monitor, rotational direction indicator and hour indicator. The durable large area filter cartridge with PTFE laminate can be cleaned using compressed air to maximise filter life.

For high productivity applications the ProtectoAutoClenz offers all the features and specifications as the Protecto ReClenz with the addition of an automatic, self-cleaning system to maintain filter efficiency during continued use.
