Celebrating International Women's Day at Weldability - Our Story

As we celebrate International Women's Day, Weldability is thrilled to highlight the exceptional journey undertaken by our dynamic marketing team. Over the past year, our team has undergone a transformation, welcoming Leah and, more recently, Rebecca, and together, they've made significant strides in elevating the marketing efforts for Weldability's four prominent brands – Sif, Newarc, Extractability and Learn to Weld.

In a relatively brief time frame, their collaborative efforts have not only transformed Weldability's marketing landscape but have also earned significant recognition within the industry. Securing the Manufacturing Company of the Year Award and achieving finalist status at the North East Marketing Awards stands as a testament to the dedication and innovative contributions made by Leah and Rebecca.

Their journey of empowerment took a significant leap forward, last October, when they participated in Indutrade's UK Empower Programme with Skills4. This insightful course equipped them with essential skills for the workplace, fostering confidence in their ability to lead conversations and make informed decisions. The newly acquired skills from this programme boosted their professional expertise and opened the door to personal development.

Demonstrating our dedication to encouraging global partnerships, Rebecca presented at a seminar in collaboration with our Saudi partner, Middle East Industrial Gases. Addressing a diverse audience of 70 males with confidence, she effectively introduced Weldability, highlighting the robust strengths and capabilities of our team.

Leah, reflecting on her time with Weldability, shares, “Joining Weldability has been a journey of continuous growth and learning, both personally and professionally. The supportive environment has allowed me to contribute my skills and ideas to the team's success.”
