A Breath Of Clean Air For Welders

Weldability-Sif, UK based “one stop source” for all welding products, has introduced Phantom Air, a new Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet, which come complete with battery powered air filter unit that delivers a constant supply of clean air to the welders breathing zone.
The air filter unit is fitted with a padded waist band and can be set to operate at either 180 LPM or 220LPM, depending on the intensity of the application. The use of a P2 filter system ensures that the air bound particles and contaminants are removed from the air delivered to the breathing zone.
The filtered air is delivered to welders breathing zone via flexible hose, which is fitted with a fire retardant cover to protect it from welding and grinding sparks.
The filter unit is fitted with a high capacity lithium battery that can last an entire 8 hour shift when operating at 180 LPM, Show the flow be restricted an audible alarm will sound to alert the welder.
